Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Spektr Career Solutions. By signing up or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Spektr Career Solutions ("Spektr") is a job-search and AI-tooling product operated by SPEKTR Career Matrix Pvt Ltd, a private limited company registered in India. References to "we", "us", or "Spektr" in these terms mean SPEKTR Career Matrix Pvt Ltd.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm you are over 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your country of residence.
3. Accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Tell us at support@spektrcareers.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One account per person. Don't share login credentials or let others use your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or republish content from Spektr outside of normal personal use.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service.
- Use the service to send spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited communications to employers, recruiters, or other users.
- Misrepresent your identity, work history, or credentials in any resume, cover letter, or application submitted via the service.
- Interfere with the service's infrastructure, including by overwhelming it with automated requests.
5. Job-listing content
Job listings shown in Spektr are aggregated from third-party sources (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, and others). We don't guarantee:
- That listings are up to date — open roles can close at any time.
- That visa-sponsorship flags are accurate — confirm directly with the employer before relying on them.
- That salary or benefit information is current.
You apply to roles at your own discretion; the employer makes hiring decisions, not Spektr.
6. AI features
Tailoring a resume, scoring a job match, writing a cover letter, and setting and marking a practice interview all use third-party AI models (currently Google Gemini, with xAI Grok as a secondary provider we can switch on). What the AI produces:
- Is provided as a starting draft — review and edit before sending to employers.
- May occasionally produce inaccurate or generic content. We recommend cross-checking facts against your real experience.
- Is generated from the resume text and job description you provide. We don't sell your inputs or outputs.
7. Subscriptions and billing
The Free plan is free forever for basic search. The Pro plan and (when launched) Pro+ tier are paid monthly. By upgrading you authorise us (via our payment processor Razorpay) to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

8. Intellectual property
The Spektr product, brand, UI, source code, design system, and documentation are owned by SPEKTR Career Matrix Pvt Ltd. You may use the service for your own personal job search; you may not resell, sublicense, or rebrand it.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the aggregated job content will be complete. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time from the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect.
